ORIGIN Red Wine Bordeaux Château Grandefont, with a vineyard extending over 45 hectares, is located on the left bank of the Dordogne River in Saint-Avit-Saint-Nazaire. Originally planted with fruit trees, the estate was gradually transformed into a vineyard in the 1960s. The vineyard, situated on the former riverbed, features a particularly gravelly soil and benefits from a microclimate due to its proximity to the river. The property, whose name means "Great Fountain," once served as a stopping point for flatboats transporting wine from Sainte-Foy-la-Grande to Bordeaux. This single-varietal range aims to modernize the image of Bordeaux by offering accessible, easy-to-drink wines, presented in attractive and modern packaging, symbolizing the renewal of our region.
